FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

I can't seem to log in! What's the matter?

Typically, log in problems occur when an attempt to log in is made and the caps-lock key is down. The password is case sensitive. Usually this solves the problem. Another possibility is if one has access to the broker profile. Typically, the password for a broker-level login is different than that of the primary agent (ex: John Smith Realty, as opposed to John Smith). Make sure you are using the proper password for the proper profile.

I just got a CGI error, what is that?

Our program uses CGI to create the dynamic content of the HomeSeller. Once in a while, all the data may not reach your computer in a timely fashion (for a variety of reasons... it is analogous to postal mail: once in a while, your postcard may stick to another piece of mail, and may not get to you in time. The page is made of hundreds or thousands of postcards). In that case, reload your browser and try again. If this is a consistent error, please let us know by filling out the support form. Please make sure to fill in all possible fields, especially the error message you are getting.

Where do I send my photos?

The photos are taken care of by the newspaper, therefore, you'll want to talk to your classifieds manager to get a contact name for the person in charge of the HomeSeller. You then simply email the (web-ready) photos to that person. In some cases, your newspaper will have an FTP option, in which you can upload your photos directly. This is a fairly complicated process, so is generally not available. Contact your local paper for more information. Note: web-ready photos are different than the photos sent to the advertising department. Web-ready photos are typically 72-dpi and in an RGB format, usually .jpg, but sometimes can be .gif. CMYK images and .bmps are not web-ready and cannot be used.
